Congratulations, because I sure didn’t make it easy.I’m a senior copywriter who’s mostly worked at small shops, but, through hard work and dedication, has gotten access to some of the most reputable publicatons and media companies out there. It’s a nontraditional path, but nontraditional stories are often more engaging. And how fun would life be if we only engaged with what’s familiar?
Certain experiences yield a certain perspective. Mine is shaped by life, of course, but also time spent in the advertising and editorial worlds. It’s been invaluable to the problem-solving process and I believe that’s what creativity is: how you solve problems.
